Flight Considerations
Most patients are cleared to fly back just 24–48 hours after the procedure. Always wear a loose-fitting hat provided by the clinic to protect grafts from cabin dust and sunlight.
Physical Activity
While in Crete, avoid swimming in the sea or hotel pools for at least 14 days to prevent infection. Light walking is encouraged from Day 3 to help reduce any minor swelling.
The "Golden Rule" of Sleep
For your first 3 nights in Heraklion, use a travel neck pillow to keep your head stable and elevated, preventing the grafts from touching the pillow directly.
Climate Protection
The Cretan sun is strong even in "off-peak" months. Stay in the shade and avoid direct exposure to the scalp for at least one month post-surgery.
